Why is each type of circulation important

There are two main types of circulation; Pulmonary Circulation, and Systemic Circulation.

Pulmonary Circulation moves blood between the heart and lungs, whereas systemic circulation moves blood between the heart and the rest of the body.

Explanation: Pulmonary Circulation takes deoxygenated blood (blood with no oxygen in it) to the lungs where it absorbs oxygen, and spits out Carbon dioxide, after it's done oxygenating itself (getting oxygen into itself) it heads back to the heart.

Pulmonary Circulation is important because it oxygenates blood and eliminates carbon dioxide from the circulation.

systemic circulation delivers oxygen and vital nutrients to our cells, and picks up waste products and carbon dioxide. In systemic circulation, oxygenated blood goes through the left ventricle of the heart, through your arteries, and then to your capillaries in your body tissue.

The systemic circulation is vital to survive, because it provides the functional blood supply to all body tissue.
