In this activity, you will research more career choices in the field of health care. You will also discuss the medical terms these professionals frequently use. Directions and Analysis Task: Healthcare Professionals and Medical Terminology Use your knowledge and resources to research about the given healthcare professionals. Provide a job description and discuss the duties and responsibilities of each professional. List and define at least 20 medical terms that each of these professionals use on a regular basis. • psychiatrist • pharmacist • endocrinologist • radiologic technologist • cardiologist • respiratory therapist For each of the above healthcare professionals, create two sentences using medical abbreviations, acronyms, and symbols that they could possibly include in their patients’ medical chart.
