How do you work this problem?

-- Calculate how much distance was covered during stage (a).

-- Calculate how much distance was covered during stage (b).

-- Calculate how much distance was covered during stage (c).

Add the three distances.  Their sum is the distance between
the start point and the end point.   That's the 'displacement' .

Wavelength divides in half and speed stays the same.
