4. what do orbiting satellites and the orbit of the moon around the earth have in common?

Orbiting satellites are defined as the satellites that move around the earth in an elliptical path, and that takes the images and records the data of the various geological processes that undergo on the earth's surface. This is also helpful in obtaining the image of the celestial objects.

On the other hand, the moon is the natural satellite of earth, and that also revolves around the sun in an elliptical path.

These orbiting satellites and the moon orbit has something in common, that includes the balancing force. This balancing force is the force that balances the centripetal and the centrifugal force. Due to this balancing force, the satellites and the moon is able to maintain its constant circular motion. If these two forces are not balanced then either the satellites (or moon) will fall back on earth or it will move out of the earth's orbit.

The centripetal force is defined as the force that acts on a body which goes in a circular manner and is projected towards the centre of the body around which it moves. On the other hand, the centrifugal force refers to that apparent force which acts outside of a body that goes around a centre, that generates from the inertia of a body.
