This is based off newton’s though experiment. only information really provided is:
the projectiles mass is not needed.
the projectiles must be launched on the horizontal plane.
the earth drops 8 inches for every mile traveled.
the acceleration due to gravity is 9.82 meters per second squared.
ignore air resistance.
1.how fast does an object need to travel to stay in orbit for one second?
2. how fast does an object need to travel to stay in orbit for two seconds?
3. how fast does an object need to travel to stay in orbit for three seconds?
4. you may have noticed that the object needs to keep going faster and faster to stay in orbit. what is the average acceleration needed for the object to stay in orbit from 1-3 seconds?
5. in the real world, orbiting objects such as satellites do not need to be constantly accelerating. what is different about real-world satellites and the theoretical satellites?

Two 1.20-m nonconducting wires meet at a right angle. one segment carries + 2.50 µc of charge distributed uniformly along its length, and the other carries - 2.50 µc distributed uniformly along it, as shown in fig. 21.50. ( a. find the magnitude and direction of the electric field these wires produce at point p, which is 60.0 cm from each wire. ( b. if an electron is released at p, what are the magnitude and direction of the net force that these wires exert on it?
