What does the quantum mechanical model determine about electrons in atoms

The quantum mechanical model determines the allowed energies an electron can have and how likely it is to find the electron in various locations around the nucleus... The energy of electrons in atoms are said to be quantized.

i just did an experiment like this in my science class. also the answer is yes, it will get separated because they are two opposites meaning if they are opposite they can not attract.
