Alead ball is shot from a cannon vertically upward with initial velocity of 44.0 m/s from ground level at the base of a 63.0 m high cliff. the ball reaches a maximum height above the top edge of the cliff and then falls downward, landing on the top edge of the cliff (treat this as a vertical one-dimensional problem). the cannon has negligible height, so assume the ball begins its vertical ascent at ground level. a) determine the time it takes for the lead ball to reach the maximum height of its trajectory?
b) from ground level, determine the maximum height reached by the ball.
c) what is the velocity and acceleration of the ball when it is at its maximum height?
d) how much time elapses for the ball to fall from its maximum height to the top edge of the cliff? e) what is the velocity of the ball just before it lands on the top edge of the cliff?
