The appropriate explanation from my side would be that it relates to mass and I understand that Jupiter measures heavily more rather than the planet Earth.
Since more inertia acts upon the bigger mass of an object and the measurements of gravity give way to resistance in its state of motion.
I can only tell you that it has a constant velocity in changing because the object is not at rest due to its speed,diameter, and gravitational mass.
