Design an experiment to test the following hypothesis: The period of a simple pendulum is proportional to its length. Some important notes: • A simple pendulum is a pendulum that is swinging with a small amplitude and whose bob (the object attached to the end) is small in size compared to the length of the pendulum and whose mass is much larger than the mass of the string. • A pendulum’s period is the time that passes before its motion begins to repeat. • ‘Proportional’ is NOT the same as ""as the length of the pendulum increases so will its period"". ‘Proportional’ means something more specific than that.
