Two wires are used to connect a light bulb to a battery. Wire 1 is connected to the positive terminal of the battery and wire 2 is connected to the negative terminal of the battery; the bulb is then connected between the free ends of wires 1 and 2. The bulb has a very large resistance compared to either of the wires; the two wires have the same (small) resistance. In this circuit, where is the current big, and where is it small?
