There are two factors that affect gravity: mass and distance.

Law of Gravity: Every particle attracts every other particle in the universe with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers.

Gravity: the force by which each object draws all the other objects towards its center.

Gravity is affected by mass and distance.

Everything with mass has gravity.

The more mass an object has, the more gravity it has.

The farther you are from the source of gravity, the lesser of gravity you will feel.

In space, your weight will read 0 and the objects in space are hard to move due to the different gravitational forces acting upon each object from different areas.

Weight: Weight is the force of gravity on an object.

Weight is completely dependent on gravitational force acting on an object.

The more gravity there is, the more weight an object will have.

Mass and weight are not the same.

Mass does not change because it is the amount of matter in an object which does not change no matter where the object is. However, weight changes because it is the effect of gravity on an object.

In order to find weight, use the formula W=mg where W is the weight, m is the mass and g is the gravitational force.
