Explaining the concept:

We know that the area under the Velocity-time graph is the displacement

So, the area under the given graph will give us the displacement covered by the object

Finding the Displacement covered by the object (area under the graph):

To find the area of the shape, we will divide it into a triangle and a rectangle

Now, we can say that:

Area under the graph = Area of the triangle + Area of the rectangle

Area under the graph = [ 1/2 * 5 * 10] + [5*5]

Area under the graph = 25 + 25

Area under the graph = 50

Hence, the displacement covered by the object is 50 m
