It depends on two factors:

1) MASS OF THE OBJECT

2) GRAVITY

Mass and acceleration due to gravity

Weight of the body is defined as the product of the mass of the  and the acceleration due to gravity

g = acceleration due to gravity

Hence, mass and acceleration due to gravity are the two factors on which weight of the body depends.
