A car is travelling along a horizontal road in an easterly direction. The car has a mass of 2300 kg and the drag force (friction) acting on the car is a constant 5000 N to the west. The car is initially travelling at a speed of 10 m s‒1 and 20 s later is travelling at a speed of 14 m s‒1.

What is the gravitational force on the car?

What is the vertical normal (support/reaction) force acting on the car?

What is the horizontal force on the cars tyres from the road?
