Lying is wrong. Lying to someone is wrong for many reasons, one of them being that it diminishes trust between people. Some people lie because they are trying to keep something hidden, which when the person finds out, breaks trust among them. Lying is normal, which is why most people would say it’s not wrong, but it is wrong, we just need to try and stop lying so much so we don’t break trust. There’s a saying “Honesty is the best policy” said by Sir Edwin Sandys and it means that you should be honest, because it is far more better than lying. The truth also will always come out. People who tell the truth are respected and trustworthy, whereas people who lie are disrespected and not trustworthy.
