Why are LED's , used in place of bulbs in a circuit to test the conductivity of liquids?

because in liquids ,the electricity passes is not too much high to light up a bulb . And an LED has ability to glow even if the current is low . that's why LED is used to test electrical conductivity in liquids.

as there is low flow of electric current in liquids , LED bulbs are used because they can glow in less electric current
