As a rule of thumb, the maximum power point can be taken to be some fixed fraction of V. Check this by determining this fixed fraction for a Sunpower X-series photovoltaic cell for which Voc=0.710 V and I = 6.39A at one sun. Assume a series resistance of 6.7 m2, an infinite parallel resistance, and an ideality factor of unity. This problem is meant to be done numerically,
a) Determine the maximum power and fill factor for 11 = 6,39 A.
b) What is the fraction, V.../Voc where V. is the voltage at the maximum power point for 1 = 6,39 A and IA
c) Determine the fill factor for li = 6.39 A but without a series resistance.
d) Compare the two calculated fill factors using the approximation discussed in lecture (or on PVeducation. org).

Suppose that a mass of 2 kg is attached a spring whose spring constant is 50. the system is damped such that b = 12 . the mass is set in motion with an initial velocity of -8 m/s at a position 0 meters from equilibrium. set up and solve a differential equation that models this motion. write your solution in the form a cos ( ω t − α ) where α is a positive number. use your solution to fill in the information below: what is the amplitude of the motion? what is the value of ω ? what is the phase shift?
