A pendulum is pulled back to a height of 1.9 meters (position B in the diagram. How fast will it be moving when it reaches the bottom of its swing (position R)? Did my teacher write the question wrong because I see no way of finding a solution considering how he didn't provide a weight?

Two particles of masses m and 2m are placed on a smooth horizontal table. a string, which joins these two masses, hangs over the edge supporting a pulley, which suspends a particle of mass 3m.the pulley has negligible mass. the two parts of the string on the table are parallel and perpendicular to the edge of the table. the hanging parts of the string are vertical. find the acceleration of the particle of mass 3m.

Consider a file currently consisting of 200 blocks. assume that the file control block (and the index block in the case of indexed allocation) is already in memory. calculate how many disk i/o operations are required for contiguous, linked, and indexed (single-level) allocation strategies, for each of the conditions listed below. in the contiguous-allocation case, assume that there is not room to grow at the beginning but there is room to grow at the end. also assume that the block information to be added is stored in memory.
