A snorkeling vest is an inflatable bag draped around the diver’s neck and strapped to his chest. It is used to adjust the diver’s buoyancy to be neutral so that he doesn’t automatically rise or sink. If the vest contains 9100 ml of air at 1.0 atm when he is at the surface, what volume will the air in his vest occupy when he is swimming near the bottom (where pressure on the vest is 2.3 atm)? Assume that air temperature in the vest doesn’t change.
