You are revising an essay on the motion of the bodies for a physics class. Which of the following sections of the essay should you revise? Select the text that is incorrect in the passage below. In our daily life, we constantly see objects in motion, but we almost never think about this. Physicists pay much more attention to such details as they always affect physicists’ experiments, no matter what those experiments are about. The position and motion of an object can be described only with respect to a frame of reference, which is unique for a given situation. A frame of reference provides a system of vectors that allow you to identify an object’s position. Each frame of reference commonly consists of three axes, typically at 90° to one another. The object observed always moves along all of its axes. Take, for example, an experiment that is carried out in a laboratory. The axes of the frame of reference must be parallel with the laboratory dimensions of length, width, and height. According to the circumstance that is under consideration, the frames of reference can be of different types. This includes cases in which the forces acting on the object are unbalanced.
