12 Marks b) 5 kg of steam (assumed to be an ideal gas with cp = 2 kJ/(kgK) flows through a horizontal
channel per hour. In that same hour, there is heat flow of 300 kJ into the system while a technical
work of 250 kJ is done on the system. The steam enters and leaves the channel with the same
velocity
i) Calculate the change in entralpy per unit mass of the steam as it enters and leaves the channel
ii) Determine the exit temperature, if the inlet temperature is 150 °C
