The refactive index air to glass is found fromsine angle incidence/sine angle refraction.Each angle is taken from the NORMAL, which is a line drawn perpendicular, or at right angles, or at 90 degrees to the surface o the material.refractive index = sine 40/sine 26. The wavelength of the light does not seem relevant in this specific problem. Presumably it's difficult to envisage DISPERSION when there's only one wavelength present.
