Hoofed animals have the least maneuverable digits. what are some positives to having hoofs instead of hands and feet with fingers and toes?

Hoofed animals, has the ability to manipulate food and use tools etc, normally they don't have the capacity to run very fast. But that doesn’t bother them, because of their great armor or skill to attack, doesn’t mean you need the speed to survive. They are really smart and for their protection they are using their antlers (only big animals), however they have developed hooves and differently shaped feet/ankles for maximum speed, just in case they want to run away (small and big animals).
