When object is placed beyond center of curvature of concave mirror then its image will form between center of curvature and focus.

This image will be real, inverted and diminished

Now when object is positioned between focus and center of curvature then its image will form beyond focus. So the image is real inverted and magnified.

Now when object is placed between focus and pole of the mirror then the image formed is virtual and behind the mirror. It is magnified image.

Now in case of convex mirror if object is positioned in front of mirror at any possible distance then the image is always virtual and diminished.
