Nausea is common among people. There are many reasons for a person to vomit. For example eating too much can result in vomiting. In addition to that, pregnancy, diabetes mellitus, hypercalcemia, migraines all cause vomiting. Vomit itself is not a disorder, rather it is a symptom for any other diseases or illness (for example food poisoning). In many cases vomiting is not to be worried about, however severe cases that causes instant dehydration can be alarming and a doctor should be visited as soon as possible.
