I will start of by naming what's RIGHT and WHY.

Aprons, goggles, and gloves are proper laboratory clothing.

The apron is correct because it covers your clothes and does not allow harmful chemicals to get on them.

Goggles are correct because it covers your eyes. It helps to keep unwanted harmful chemicals to come in contact and hurt your eyes.

Gloves are correct because you may protect your hands from getting burned and keeping them safe.

I will now name what's WRONG and WHY.

Oversized sweatshirts, sandals, contact lenses, and jewelry.

Oversized sweaters are wrong because baggy clothes and labs do not go well together. It can get stuck on or in things, it can spills items, easily burn when near fire, etc.

Sandals are wrong because your feet are not protected. If something like acid get knocked over (you wont be using/exposed to acid, it's an example) it can harm you feet badly. The same thing goes with unknown substances. The point of a lab is to have fun yet be safe, not to injure yourself.

Contact lenses are wrong because it's not a form of eye protection. Now, I'm not saying that you shouldn't where them if you/somebody could have trouble seeing, just put goggles on too. Like I said, you should not be injuring yourself. 

Lastly, jewelry. That wrong because of a similar reason of oversized sweaters. It can get stuck/yanked on something. That would create a mess and the lab would not be safe to work in.
