A ball is thrown straight upward from the edge of a cliff, a height H above the ground below. The ball leaves the cliff moving upward at speed v0. After the ball is launched, air resistance can be neglected. At the same instant that the ball is launched, an insect at rest at the top of the cliff moves downward with a constant downward acceleration. The ball and the insect both reach the ground at the same time. The positive ydirection points upward, the ground is at y=0 and the cliff is at y = H. Required:
Draw a single y-t graph that shows the motion of both the ball and the insect and car #2, and draw a single vy-t graph that shows the motion of both the ball and the insect.
