I wanted to understand what people mean when they say pressure in a fluid inside a pipe. Do they mean pressure exerted on the wall of the pipe (P1) or the pressure that pushes the fluid (P2) to flow.
More importantly, is P1 = P2, if so why and if not how might we find P2?
Thanks

Initially, a particle is moving at 5.33 m/s at an angle of 37.9° above the horizontal. two seconds later, its velocity is 6.11 m/s at an angle of 54.2° below the horizontal. what was the particle's average acceleration during these 2.00 seconds in the x-direction (enter first) and the y-direction?

Ablock of mass m = 2.5 kg is attached to a spring with spring constant k = 740 n/m. it is initially at rest on an inclined plane that is at an angle of theta= 26 with respect to the horizontal, and the coefficient of kinetic friction between the block and the plane is uk = 0.17. in the initial position, where the spring is compressed by a distance of d = 0.16 m, the mass is at its lowest position and the spring is compressed the maximum amount. take the initial gravitational energy of the block as zero. the block's initial mechanical energy is 9.472 j.b. if the spring pushes the block up the incline, what distance l in meters will the block travel before coming to rest? the spring remains attached to both the block and the fixed wall throughout its motion.

Three resistors are connected in series across a 15-v power supply. if the potential drops across resistors 1 and 2 are 4.1 volts and 3.1 volts, what is the exact potential drop (in volts) across resistor 3?
