2. Martha got up at 7 o'clock in the morning. At 7:45 she left and went to the store to buy milk (8:05, 200 meters, 10 minutes in the store), then to the post office (8:30, 300 meters, 8 minutes in the store), then to the bank (8:20, 400 meters, 12 minutes in the bank). She went to the bus station (8:35, 20 meters) and waited for the bus for 10 minutes. She rode to the metro (1253 meters, 20 minutes), then took the metro into the city (8231 meters, 30 minutes). She waited for the shuttle to the office center (10 minutes), and traveled to work (2588 meters, 40 minutes because of terrible traffic jams). Around 1pm she went to the local sandwich shop (200 meters, 3 minutes), then to a coffee shop (100 meters, 2 minutes), then to a book store (162 meters, 3 minutes), then back to the office (150 meters, 3 minutes). At the end of the day she went back the way she came first the shuttle (2588 meters, 37 minutes), then the metro (8231 meters, 30 minutes), then the bus, though to a different stop (1360 meters, 23 minutes). She first went to visit her mother (621 meters, 15 minutes), and spent some time talking with her. Then she went to the flower shop (546 meters, 13 minutes), picked up her shoes from the repair shop (23 meters, 30 seconds), and walked home (892 meters, 22 minutes). The time was 8:01pm when she walked through the door. Find Martha's average speed for the entire day.

Uranium has two naturally occurring isotopes. 238u has a natural abundance of 99.3% and 235u has an abundance of 0.7%. it is the rarer 235u that is needed for nuclear reactors. the isotopes are separated by forming uranium hexafluoride uf6, which is a gas, then allowing it to diffuse through a series of porous membranes. 235uf6 has a slightly larger rms speed than 238uf6 and diffuses slightly faster. many repetitions of this procedure gradually separate the two isotopes. what is the ratio of the rms speed of 235uf6 to that of 238uf6? express your answer to five significant figures.
