2. A car is travelling along a relatively straight highway 30 km long. For the first 5 minutes of the journey, the car travels at a constant velocity of 30 km/h. After this, the car accelerates to 65 km/h within a 400 m stretch, and stays at this velocity for 14 minutes. The car slows to 50 km/h very quickly (in about 6 seconds) in order to avoid running into a car in front, and slowly sped up to 80 km/h over the remainder of the length of the highway (i. e. reached 80 km/h at the end of the highway) a. Draw a graph showing the acceleration of the car on the highway (v vs. t graph)
b. Draw a graph showing the velocity of the car on the highway (x vs t graph)
c. What is the average velocity of the car over the highway trip?

You have been hired to design a spring-launched roller coaster thatwill carry two passengers per car. the car goes up a 10-m highhill, then descends 15m to the track's lowest point. you'vedetermined that the spring can be compressed a maximum o 2.0m andthat a loaded car will have a maximum mass of 400kg. for safetyreasons, the spring constant should be 10% larger than the minimumneeded for the car to just make it over the top. a) what spring constant (k) should you specify ? b) what is the maximum speed of a 350 kg car if the spring iscompressed the full amount.
