A. A traditional thermostat regulates temperature with the use of a bimetallic strip. The bimetallic strip consists
of Iron (a = 11.8 x 10-6 °C-4) and Copper (a = 16.5 x 10-6 °C'') that expand at different rates as the
temperature increases. Assuming that both metal strips are at 10 cm, find the difference in lengths between
the two metals as the temperature increases from 20°C (room temperature) to 100°C (boiling temperature).
