The speed of a bullet can be determined by using a device called a ballistic pendulum. The device is essentially a block of wood that hangs from two strings. When a bullet is fired at the block and it embeds itself and causes the combined block/bullet system to swing up to some height, h The mass of the block is 2.2 kg.

The bullet has a speed 530 m/s and a mass of 6.5 g.

Find the speed of the block/bullet system after collision.
