The figures display three density curves, each with three points marked on them. In (a), the curve rises quickly from the horizontal axis and slowly drops to the same from the highest point. Line A is drawn to the highest point on the curve. Line B is drawn to the right of Line A, and Line C to the right of Line B. In (b), the curve rises quickly from the horizontal axis, drops slowly to a point about one-half of the height of the highest point, then rises to a second high point before dropping down to the horizontal axis again. The first half of the curve is a mirror-image of the second half. Line A is drawn to the highest point of the first peak, Line B is drawn to the lowest point at the center of the curve, and Line C is drawn to the highest point of the second peak. In (c), the curve slowly rises from the horizontal axis to a high point close to the right end of the same, then falls off quickly. Line C is drawn from the horizontal axis to the highest point of the peak, Line B is drawn to the left of Line C, and Line A to the left of line B.

(a) Identify the points on density curve (a) where the mean and the median fall.

In (a), the curve rises quickly from the horizontal axis and slowly drops to the same from the highest point. Line A is drawn to the highest point on the curve. Line B is drawn to the right of Line A, and Line C to the right of Line B.

Enter the letter of the term that corresponds to each choice. For example, if you are choosing "point A", enter the letter "A" in the answer blank.
