How did leonardo continue to learn about anatomy

Leonardo continued working in his workshop underneath a hospital where he would access to the dead bodies. He would then dissect them this gave him a sound understanding of anatomy; which some suggest that he employed his knowledge to a forge of shroud of turin or to make it more simpler which examined dead bodies in order to find out about the structure of the skeletons and muscles.
