The men who wrote the Declaration of Independence were not timid; these Founding Father's had courageously reformed America and changed it's course of history for years to come. This means, "objective and timid" is incorrect.

The Founding Father's believed that "all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights." During that era, God -- or their Creator was a sacred figure used to expound on what the speaker(s) is/are saying. The held him in the highest reverence, so much so that they believed He (God) gave rights to men than cannot be taken away. This means, "personal and casual" is incorrect.*

The Founding Fathers did not, in any way, make the Declaration of Independence impossible to comprehend. Their choice of words were kept to a minimum and it wasn't too complex which may have led to discouragement on the people of America's part. Had it been, it would have felt to suffocating -- almost as if they had left a monarchy to become one all over again. This means, "complex and intellectual" is incorrect.**

The Declaration of Independence was logical, yet not intellectual. Passionate, yet not personal. It was very simple. Well thought out, but simple. It was constructed that way so that even simple minded could understand. It was logical in all it's aspects. For instance, the text states, "whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government." That is pure logic to an stable minded person. If you're being oppressed to the point of destruction,then target the oppression. That was thier tactic for Britian and that will be their tactic again if a government should subject itself to corrupt ways. This means, "passionate and logical" is correct.

* You may object, seeing that Americans believed that each was accountable to God and that each had a somewhat "personal" relationship with him. You're correct, but it sort of veers of track from the main subject -- the Declaration of Independence.

** Not to say the Founding Fathers were not intellectual, however they wrote the DOI in such a way that children can understand their rights to some extent -- it was engineered so that you didn't have to be intellectual to understand.
