How do the decisions you make as a consumer affect the economy?

The decisions you make can affect the way company's put out items. This is called Supply and demand. If consumers don't want to buy something from a company the demand comes down. Thus, the supply coming down. But, if consumers want something very bad. Then supply and demand come up.

An informal structure in a bureaucracy would be something like so-called "office politics". where there's a formal structure set up for the organization, but then an informal subculture as well that has a way of organizing the bureaucracy further. this can be positive because it sets up an added degree of organization, albeit informal, within the bureaucracy.
