Analyse the impact that the increasing number of social grants may have on the teen mothers

Social grant could have both positive and negative impacts on teen mothers.

Positive impacts:

Social grants would give a certain amount of money to teen mothers each months in order to cover their basic expense. This would help the teen mothers to get by while trying to seek additional income from a more stable job.

Negative Impacts:

Social grants could make teen mothers became too dependent on government assistance to get by. When being used incorrectly, this would prevent them from seeking a more stable job.

Social grants are financial assistance given by the government to the people to eliminate poverty in any society. It is given to underprivileged families

Teenage mothers depend largely on this social grant. They involve in early pregnancy and they may also become lethargic to take care of their children.

They ultimately turn into an irresponsible parent who spend a large part of this social grant in parties and enhancing their personal looks and status.
