All it takes is for one person to have a disease, measles for example, and to spread it. Measles is deathly and affects and spreads throughout the body rapidly, and it is HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS. It could spread like a wildfire to thousands of people. When comparing it to wars and conquers by the Spanish and Portuguese, it only killed about 3,000 people or so, which is nothing compared to the diseases. Measles had a death rate at around 1.3 Million or so
