How did the laissez faire change america?

Laissez Faire changed America by promoting free market (where goods and services are exchanged with little regulation),  by Adam Smith. Which helped our economy and government with problems or so adjustments such as the checks and balances, decreasing of the size of government, departments, army and navy, and the repealing of the unpopular whiskey tax.

This is why because the Laissez Faire was an economic idea, it was promoted and stretched far out to Scottish economist Adam Smith. Who then published a book called "The Wealth of Nations" that argued and favored the free market. Which made Jefferson agree that the government should protect peoples rights and the federal government to take a "less of an active role" in governing America. And then checks and balances, decreasing.. etc.
