Explanation: what is systematic desensitization it is one of behavioural therapy (focusing on the behaviour that is learned over time) which focuses on the principle of classical conditioning.

This therapy is used to help someone overcome their fears and get rid of those fears or phobia using in vitro which means being exposed to the image of what one fears or in vivo which means to be actual exposed to that thing literally i.e they bring a real snake

There are three phases to the treatment:

The first is a relaxation technique where someone goes through deep breathing lessons.

second one there is a created hierarchy of fear in which the patient rate their fears for each fear provoking picture that they are shown.
