The person that feels that she/he hasn't put on the effort or made enough sacrifices in the path they've followed regardless of life outcomes.

Explanation: Effort justification is when people put greater importance in the effort they have put to achieve something that is what they have objectively achieved.

For example, Jim worked for 7 years a 7 to 5 job that required from him great effort and he was able to save $400.000 in that period. The year after he won $400.000 more in the lottery out of pure luck. According to the principle of justification of effort, Jim probably considers the first $400.000 as more valuable, just because he put more effort into getting them.
