 I would like to talk about a subject that is one of my favorites The Protestant Reformation

The Protestant Reformation was the church renewal movement led by Martin Luther. It occurred in the 16th century and began in Central Europe.

The Protestant Reformation was responsible for the creation of several churches, all of which declared themselves outside the authority of the Pope.

The decay of the various orders of the Catholic Church gave rise to the need for reform in the Church. At that time, several priests were involved in illicit and mundane tasks, and selling indulgences harmed many people. In addition, various royals wanted to dominate the Church and obtain their possessions in order to increase their power and influence. Moreover, papal power had been radically reduced after the separation between Rome and Avignon (Avignon), and also due to the Curia Reformation, which displeased many Christians at the time, including John Wycliffe.

Many people today do not understand what Luther's intentions were, and ramble on wrong ideas about Protestantism, Luther simply wanted to decentralize the power of the Catholic church, wished there could be other religions without all the judgment and almost illegality at the time.

It was a movement that forever changed the Catholic leadership and its power, allowing for greater religious acceptance even though still limited and not ideal.
