In consideration of what is morally and ethically righteous in a fair, equitable, and wealthy society, as well as the definition of social justice (as found in the introduction of the course), what do you believe should be canada's role in the syrian crisis?

what are the specific benefits for canada if we accept many syrian refugees (or refugees in general from any country, for that matter), and what can they do for us, to our country? why do we need them just as much as they need canada? be specific.

what are the consequences if canada and other countries do not act on this?

what solutions would you propose to this issue (the syrian, or the issue of canada accepting mass quantities of refugees from any war torn conflict)?
