Gestalt psychologists have formulated several basic principles of perceptual organization. describe two of the principles and give a personal example of each.

Gestalt psychology work on the principle of wholeness. It is whole is greater than the sub-part of things. These phenomena occur during the process of perception. There is much law but here we discuss two laws

Law of similarity: This law indicates that when similar things put together, they will show one group. This group can occur in both audio and visual form. Group of dots with same color will show a one group

Law of continuity: In this law when the connection of two lines whether these lines are straight or curved seems to be the smoothest path. These lines will not see as separate lines.
