1.  Contact information: The reason for including this to make it easy for the hiring manager to contact the job applicant in case they interested in employing him.

2. Date: This is to serve as reference purpose in case there is a need to track the letter.

3. Contact Person's Name and Address: This to bring personal touch and get the hiring manager interested in your application.

4,  Salutation : This is meant to address the contact person in an appropriate manner. Using his name like Dear Mr. Johns can be very effective.

5. Opening Paragraph : This aims to inform the hiring manager how you got to know about the advised position. This could be via internet, the company's website, a friend, and others.

6. Middle Paragraph : The aim here is to summarize your background and relevant skills that stand you out among other applicants. that is, you are telling the hiring manager you hard skills.

7.  Second Middle Paragraph :  This meant to tell the hiring manager your soft skills which is also referred to as persuasive skills.

8. Conclusion: this is meant to tell the hiring manager about your availability for it and how you can be contacted. Also to tell him when you will contact him. Finally, it is also meant to thank the hiring manager for opening the opportunity,

9. Last salutation and signature: End with yours sincerely, type your name.
