Face book and other social media serve as intermediary between the common people and those who held the power within society

. With social media, government officials could easily communicate with their voter base. They can obtain it to gather support from the upcoming election or for gathering donation for their campaign.

2.  What would you consider to be “power” as it relates to Face book and other social media. and who has the majority of this power?

The power that Face book an other social media has would be the ability to spread information.

Face book enable political candidates to advertise themselves. They can posted various type of interview or ad-campaign that make themselves look appealing among the voters.

On top of that, they also could spread negative information about their political opponents in order to reduce their voter's support.
