Explanation:

The ability of a person to see things socially and how they interact,  influence each other is called sociological imagination.  To have this imagination one must be able to pull himself away from a particular situation and think from a different point of view, this ability is central to a persons development of sociological viewpoint on the world. This concept was created by sociologist C. Wright Mills, he also wrote a book about it that was published in 1959.
