Explanation: SMART is an acronym used in outlining the prerequisite or plausible steps which could aid in attaining a set objective, goal, aspirations or target. S.M.A.R.T means Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-based. These five features may be necessary in defining once objective.

Specific means clear definition or identification of an intended goal or objective.

Measurable, metric to weigh or evaluate this objective.

Attainable, objective should be achievable and not overly complicated.

Relevant, must be sensible and useful.

Time-bound, objective must be set or connected with a specific time frame or period.
