Ancient India and Egypt are greatest Civilizations of the World that have contributed immensely to world heritage and culture.

Similarities:

1) Both Egypt and India grew along the banks of rivers. Indus valley Civilization in India along Indus river and the Egyptian Civilization along Nile.

2) Ancient Egypt and India practiced Polytheistic religions. They both believed in many Gods.

example: RA was Egyptian counterpart of Lord Brahma from Hindu mythology. Both related to Sun God.

Differences:

1) There was not a single head of State in India as compared to Egypt. Ancient Egypt had Pharaoh as the king of entire state whereas in India, there were several Rajas ruling over smaller political divisions.

2) There was no class system in Ancient Egypt and the slaves could earn freedom. But Ancient India followed class system to assist different jobs ascribed to them.
