Why did the government have to make assignments for each radio station?

Radio stations wanted to be separated.
There was too much interference.
People couldn't find the radio stations.
The satellites were mixing the signals.

a. the moon was locked into orbit by the earths gravity as it was passing by and capture hypothesis i think

i heard they are taking it off i hope this isn't true but otherwise if it doesn't get taken off it will probably be in early december or early january of 2018-2019
